Perched atop the bluffs of The Ritz-Carlton, Half Moon Bay, Olga and Robert exchanged vows beneath a breathtaking trio of floral arches overlooking the Pacific on a picture-perfect California day. Their celebration seamlessly blended timeless elegance with unforgettable entertainment, from a bagpiper and live dancers during cocktail hour to a candlelit reception filled with cascading blooms, soft draping, and the sounds of a live band.

Every detail felt thoughtfully curated, from the intricate monogram adorning their wedding cake to the coordinating menus at each place setting. As the evening unfolded, family and friends filled the dance floor in celebration of the newlyweds.

On the Ranch: Tucked inside the working stable at TERI Campus of Life in San Marcos, Michelle Garibay Events brings a restrained sense of luxury to a naturally rugged setting. “The inspiration was the stable, which is a beautiful combination of grace and elegance, and the earthiness that is equestrian life—dirt, wood and leather,” says Garibay. “As a horse owner myself, this combination is lovely and familiar for its simplicity.” 
A stunning king’s table adorned with rich details is nestled among the horse stalls in the Harriet E. Pfleger Therapeutic Equestrian Center—which is home to TERI’s therapy horses, such as social butterfly Willie, that are key players in the organization’s mission to support the special needs community. “An important thing to remember when choosing a non-traditional venue is that they have a main purpose and use,” explains Garibay. “So, they may not be pristine in every detail, but that is the draw to these types of spaces.”
Ruffled flowers, including butterfly ranunculus, lisianthus and sweet peas, arranged in wood compotes evoke a romantic aesthetic. “I wanted the florals to feel moody in their color while maintaining movement in the structure,” explains Kait Boisnard of French Girl Florals. “Whether through texture, color, or shape, each bloom was chosen because it spoke to another ingredient in the recipe.”

Nestled among the vineyards of Sonoma, Chateau St. Jean set the scene for Dantia and Hunter’s celebration. A soft palette of greens and whites complemented the estate’s manicured gardens, while thoughtful design moments transformed every corner of the day. During cocktail hour, guests gathered beneath the property’s iconic magnolia tree, where a statement bar became the heart of the celebration before making their way to a custom seating chart that doubled as an interactive photo opportunity. As the sun began to set, everyone gathered for an al fresco dinner on the grand lawn, where sweeping vineyard views and timeless details created an evening that felt both intimate and unforgettable.

Lets dive into the details that won over the Editor’s Choice for Best Real Wedding 2026, lovingly crafted by Wild Heart Events | Jaime K. Designer
“Throughout the planning process, our goal was simple: we wanted guests to leave saying, ‘That was so Lindsay and Natalie,’” says the couple. After getting engaged abroad, Lindsay and Natalie returned with a vision as vivid as a Provençal market, a dream that Wild Heart Events flawlessly executed. 

Drawing from Healdsburg’s golden fall landscape, the team wove together warm neutrals, mustard, burgundy and dusty blue across a riot of patterned linens, including block prints and stripes. Cocktail hour channeled French aperitivo culture with bistro tables, linen menus and free-flowing Aperol spritzes. The tented reception invited guests into a cozy restaurant featuring layered tablescapes and bold patterns—with each table telling a design story of its own.

The night ended in the couple’s ultimate love letter to themselves. The Girls’ Room, their after-party, featured a custom mosaic dance floor and retro candy station straight out of a cool NYC haunt.

Some weddings are true love stories... and Dominique and Stephanie’s celebration at Sands Hotel & Spa felt like a tribute to every person who helped write theirs. Inspired by the idea of honoring their community, the couple transformed the entire property into a private oasis where family and friends could settle in for a weekend of fun and unforgettable surprises. 
Each bride secretly selected the song her partner would walk down the aisle to, creating an emotional exchange before vows were even spoken. Both love birds rocked personal collections of vibrant florals: purple, blue and hot pink.
Natural table runners were formed from long banana leaves and topped with rattan-inspired table numbers. The evening crescendoed with a Backstreet Boys sing-along, a packed dance floor and, finally, a collective leap into the pool—wedding attire and all.

Vibrant colors are in full bloom at this artistically bold wedding designed by Thomas Bui Lifestyle at the iconic Hotel del Coronado. The seaside ceremony was transformed into a luxurious garden with 300,000 hand-placed flowers, while the ballroom became a jaw-dropping oasis of color—bursting with sapphire and amethyst hues punctuated by pops of fuchsia.

After seeing an Instagram post of a wedding at Rancho Las Lomas, Thao and Corey quickly fell in love with the venue. The couple immediately knew that was where they wanted to tie the knot and used the space as inspiration as they brought their special day to life.  The floral arrangements, color scheme and every little design detail always tied back to embracing the beauty of the Spanish-style outdoor venue. 

Thao and Corey recall all their first looks being the most “anticipated” parts of the day. From seeing one another in their dress and suit to touring the venue, these experiences made “all of the time spent planning, the multiple meetings, the late nights and ultimately our dream come to life before our eyes,” Thao says. Even after seeing Thao in her gown during their first look, watching her walk down the aisle was Corey’s favorite memory. This moment made their wedding feel “real at last,” and the swell of emotions will be engraved in the couple’s memory forever.
