After 10 days in the jungle I feel as though I was brought back down to earth. Seeing how simplified life can be. Going through remote villages, seeing their lifestyle and bushwhacking miles into the Amazon . It really makes me realize how much we tend to overcomplicate life and put value on the wrong things. The fishing was brutal but for the first time in my life I think I was okay with that. We all tend to put so much pressure on the fish itself and the catching… but as I get older I realize more and more if you get to do what you have a passion for and are surrounded by good people and family while doing it there really isn’t much more to life than that.
