The airplane ride on this last leg from Amsterdam to Barcelona was the chattiest I can ever remember being on in my life. It was like a non-stop high school bus situation. As you can hear in the video, people spoke continuously and often drowned out the announcements. That was constant from the moment we took off to the moment we touched down. Everybody--Moms, Dads, Singles, Grandparents, college students, business persons, even little kids--was happy to be there.

Looking forward to the retreat! 😉

Hello all!

Eric Clermont Player here. Just dusting off this account to cut through the clutter of my professional contacts. I am currently engaged in pre-production on a film with Charles Box Jr. and KanaRose Oon, Mun Kang, Rebecca Ramon, Drew Galbraith, and others from the Chapman Alumni world. If you are interested in helping out on a micro-budget thriller with macro-budget goals, head over and join the Harmless - PreProduction group. All are welcome, whether Chapman folks or not.

Please leave a quick message describing what you are expert at/how you'd like to contribute when you apply to the group. All talents from Production Design to storyboards to Producer-who-shows-up-on payday-but never-shows-their-face-otherwise are appreciated.

Pre-production is pro-bono, but the project really and truly has a budget (though we welcome investors! 😏) so the idea is that everyone get a little somethin-somethin by the wrap of production.

LATEST PRESS RELEASE:

HARMLESS, the new feature film script now in development with MailBox Productions, Panther Pictures - LLC, and Roseland Pictures, was just announced as a Quarter Finalist at the Los Angeles International Screenplay Awards.  The writer of HARMLESS is Eric Player.

HARMLESS tells the story of Grace Norway, and her struggle for answers in the disappearance of her husband and her neighbor.  The easiest thing to believe is that they ran away together. The hardest thing to face is the bone-chilling truth.  Most of the people we know in life are quiet, unassuming, ordinary, average.  Average does not mean innocent; even if someone has never done you any harm, that doesn't make them harmless.

Charles Box, Jr. is attached to direct through MailBox Productions, Eric Player wrote HARMLESS from his original idea, Kanarose Oonhateparuk is attached as a producer through Roseland Pictures in Bangkok, Thailand.
