Genuinely when I see people promising this stuff my blood BOILS!!!!!

Because you cannot guarantee this stuff. If you could, wouldn’t we all be mega huge accounts??

AND I’d argue that all of that doesn’t even matter if you’re not making sales.

Because I have many clients who don’t get viral views or gain hundreds of followers a month but still make $20k/month, $60k/month, etc.

So, all that to say, if someone guarantees you stuff that’s not in their control…please runšŸ˜‰

For the longest time, I kept my wins to myself.

Every time I thought about posting a client result or sharing something I was proud of, I’d immediately find a reason why it wasn’t worth talking about.

So I stayed quiet.

Then one day I realized something.

If people don’t know what you’ve done, how are they supposed to trust that you can help them?

This year, I started sharing more.

Client wins, growth screenshots, messages from happy clients.

The little milestones I used to brush off and move past.

And guess what happened?

More inquiries landed in my inbox.

More conversations started because people could actually see the results.

The funny part is I’m a social media manager.

I teach this stuff all the time.

Yet I still had to work through the same mindset that keeps so many business owners stuck.

Thinking your success isn’t exciting enough to share is costing you opportunities.

Your ideal clients don’t want you to be perfect.

They’re looking for proof.

So if you’ve helped a client, hit a goal, made a sale, launched something new, or reached a milestone you’ve been working toward...

Talk about it.

You earned it.

And if you decide to brag on yourself today, tag me. I want to hype you up. šŸ‘

Plz read the last slide because if I hear any of you are choosing to spend lots of time reordering your grid in the name of aesthetics and not posting because of it I’m gonna lose my mind!!!šŸ˜‰

I debated about sharing this because I’m not trying to get any credit for these behind the scenes acts but after having a conversation with someone about this aspect of my business, I saw how shocked she was.

I then realized that maybe these little acts of gratitude are rare in business.

Which makes sense because I bet many coaches would call it ā€œno boundariesā€ and I disagree with my whole chest.

I would argue that because it strengthens the relationships with my clients so much, they’re more respectful of my time and expertise.

Ultimately though, if you want to hire a huge agency who genuinely has no idea when your birthday is, if you just completed something off of your bucket list, doesn’t know how many kiddos you have, etc. do not hire me🤣

I promise you'll be disappointed šŸ˜‰

Here’s exactly what I’d change (and why) šŸ‘‡

1ļøāƒ£ Add a searchable name field

This was the biggest opportunity.

If you’re a content creator, brands and followers should immediately know what you’re known for.

Think:

Lifestyle Creator
Fashion Finds
Home Decor
Home Renovation

The clearer you are, the easier you are to find.

2ļøāƒ£ Keep your name front and center

I love that your name is there.

As a creator, YOU are the brand.

That personal connection matters.

3ļøāƒ£ Use your bio to set expectations

Right now, I don’t immediately know what someone will find when they follow you.

Fashion?

Home projects?

Lifestyle?

Travel?

Your bio should answer that before someone ever scrolls your feed.

4ļøāƒ£ Remember that brands are reading your bio too

Potential followers aren’t the only people landing on your profile.

Brands want to know:

What type of content do you create?

Who is your audience?

What partnerships make sense?

Make it easy for them to understand your niche.

5ļøāƒ£ Keep the proof

ā€œDirector of Marketing & Experience at Quest Takersā€ is actually a great credibility builder.

It instantly tells people you’re more than just a creator.

You’re a marketer too.

6ļøāƒ£ Optimize your space

Minneapolis and Fargo are both important to your brand.

But if character space is tight, we may be able to shorten or restructure that section to make room for stronger messaging.

Every line should earn its spot.

7ļøāƒ£ Create a creator version of an ā€œI helpā€ statement

Businesses have an ā€œI helpā€ statement.

Creators need a ā€œthis page is for...ā€ statement.

Something like:

For the 20-something girlies navigating careers, home projects, fashion finds, and Midwest life.

Now people instantly know they’re in the right place.

That’s how you turn profile visits into followers and brand opportunities.

Comment BIO if you want me to audit yours!

As an anxious girlie I HATE hurting peoples feelings, mean comments, etc. However, I think some of these would help my audience and that’s why I’m doing it! 🄹

I know my audience is seeing so much on this app that might scare them, confuse them, or paralyze them and I want to be a voice of reason.

I want my audience to come to my page and feel heard, seen and understood! I also want them to feel like they can reach out when they’re confused.

I hope this post was helpful! If you have any questions about social media please do not hesitate to reach out. I’m here for you! šŸ«¶šŸ¼

Connections/transparency>>>quick sales on my page always.🚨

This trend is so fun! Last time I did something like this 2 of my ā€œdream clientsā€ started working with me! If that’s not manifestation I don’t know what is! (Is that right šŸ˜‰

This doesn't list every single client I've had or want to have but it's a good gist!

I also think this is a good way to objection handle the ā€œHave you worked with my niche before?!ā€ The answer is probably yes though🤣

And I've loved every single one!!
