It only takes ONE opportunity to impact the life of another.

In March, I had the honor of visiting with John Maxwell behind the scenes during his book signing. What he didn’t know was that I was in a chapter of my life making big decisions, choosing which fights to keep, and which to let go of.

Being around his light, energy, and presence was the push I needed to win the fight.

I wanted to show John how much I valued that moment, and what better way to honor his legacy than with a customized championship belt for the true champion of leadership and legacy.

John has the heart of a champion, and every champion deserves a belt.

Thank you, John, for being my coach, my cornerman, and most importantly, my friend.

It’s not about the cover. As a mother raising my boys, scrapping, grinding, and doing the best I could; being named ND Mother of the Year in 2020 was an honor. But the truth is, the only thing better has been being given two incredible boys who are growing into unbelievable men.

We spend so much of life chasing accolades, affirmations, or awards… when the real ones are standing right in front of us every single day.

Pay attention to the simple joys, the smiles, the conversations we sometimes take for granted. Those are the daily awards we’re blessed with.

There comes a point where growth isn’t about adding more, it’s about letting go. Releasing old beliefs, habits, pain, and the versions of yourself that kept you small. Cutting the cords to what no longer serves as a sail to your mission.

Whether in relationships or in the professional identities once held, it’s learning to recognize what supports your growth and what quietly drains it. Outgrowing isn’t failure, it’s alignment. It’s choosing joy over justification, truth over tolerance, and light over loyalty to what hurts.

This season is about clearing space to align with your soul.
Outgrowing isn’t walking away from people or titles.
