Cass County Electric Cooperative (CCEC) is located in the heart of the Red River Valley and Cass County. CCEC doesn’t have shareholders or customers: We have members, and we’re not only committed to providing them with reliable, affordable, and sustainable energy, but we’re also passionate about enhancing the quality of life for our more than 55,000 members. As a local business staffed by your fri

ends and neighbors, CCEC is finding new ways to make a difference – beyond delivering electricity. Although we’re local and independent, we’re also part of something bigger: local cooperatives work together to develop new technologies and infrastructure across the country. We’re a driving force in helping attract and grow business and industry to our area, and we are active in our EDCs, various Chamber of Commerce and have a business accounts program to help our small and large business members succeed. We’re always looking for new ways to help our members save energy, save money, and take advantage of the more efficient technology that’s changed the way we live. We’re also a great place to work. We’re uniquely positioned to be a force for good in our community. We invest in our employees through ongoing education and training, so we can better serve our members in the places they live, work, and learn. That’s just one of the seven cooperative principles CCEC and all cooperatives follow. To learn about us, visit CassCountyElectric.com.

A few of our team members spent the day at the NRASP Health & Safety Conference, learning from experts on topics like AI in safety, ergonomics, mental health, lockout/tagout, and more.

While they were in education, our Manager of Safety, Mike, represented CCEC at our booth, sharing the electrical safety training we provide for contractors, farmers, students, and community groups.

Events like this help us strengthen our safety culture and bring valuable knowledge back to our crews and members. 💡⚡

Thank you to NRASP for hosting another great conference!

We had a fantastic time at this year’s Health, Tech & Trades Career Expo! ⚡

Our booth once again brought hands-on lineworker activities to hundreds of ninth graders, giving them a closer look at the skills, safety, and teamwork it takes to keep power flowing in our communities.

Sharing what our lineworkers do, and helping spark interest in careers within the trades, is something that makes us so excited! Thank you to the organizers and to every student who stopped by to learn, ask questions, and give the activities a try. 💡👷‍♂️
