What this means to our viewers is that we will begin airing ABC Network programming, with additional hit syndicated shows, news, locally-produced specials and weekly features. For the past 16 years ABC has only been available from other communities on cable and satellite and in some areas not at all. This change allows you to view locally ABC’s top rated programs like Dancing With The Stars, Grey’
s Anatomy, The Bachelor/Bachelorette, Good Morning America and many others. The following are some of the highlights you can see with the launch of WAWV:
•Our new look Live at Five News will be moving over from WTWO NBC 2. Veteran Newsman Tom McClanahan will anchor our news for the hour.
•Shows like Dancing With The Stars, The Bachelor/Bachelorette, Desperate Housewives, Modern Family, Grey’s Anatomy and 20/20 will all be available for LOCAL advertisers to showcase their products and services.
•ABC’s Saturday Night College Football will take center stage and showcase teams that will compete for a National Championship.
•Morning Viewers will enjoy watching Good Morning America with local news and weather updates throughout the morning.
•The Daytime Viewers will flock to The View and the afternoon Soap/Talk block.
•Late night Viewers will be treated to Nightline and Jimmy Kimmel Live.
•Combine the ABC network programs with our syndicated lineup and you have a can’t miss schedule. Proven winners like Judge Alex, Judge Joe Brown and Judge Judy set the table for our comedies that feature Two and a Half Men, The Office and debuting in September 19th, Big Bang Theory.
•The First at 10pm Local News from WAWV will be provided live on www.mywabashvalley.com streaming weekdays.
•Eleven hours of HD programming each day from ABC network programs giving you more shows in HD on channel 38 than ever before. A quarter of a century after ABC first hit the Wabash Valley, it is back; bigger and better than ever.
