Meet 84U’s new family! 🙂

Bill is a 73yo pilot who owns a flight school at Delaware Airport, Ohio (KDLZ). 84U will be his personal plane, and one he’ll use to go on adventures with his wife, son and friends.

He and his family are long time subscribers, and they learned a lot about the plane through my videos. In fact, Bill specifically asked me to show him how unlock himself from the plane in case he got stuck 😄 (true story)

When I landed at DLZ to deliver the plane, I was ready to tear up. But when I saw their BIG smiles I realized how fortunate I was to be a part of this story, and the beginning of a wonderful journey for them. That was the same smile I had when I was handed the keys to 84U for the first time.

84U will be well cared for 🥹 And I’ll visit it from time to time. If you see it around, say hello for me 😉

So this happened… 1️⃣0️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ How should I celebrate? 😃

I remember my first hour, as a student pilot: in a Cherokee 160 out of KFRG, on January 9, 2019. Probably one of the most special days in my life.

What a journey this has been. So many airports, places, memories, friends and, most importantly, so many lessons learned.

Aviation brought so many incredible things and people to my life. And now, I can’t imagine my life without it.

Here’s to the next 1,000 🙌🏻🔥998.2 to go 🙂
