The Paramount Theater in Asbury Park, in conjunction with Asbury Audio, will be presenting John McMenamin's "Remembering Harry Chapin" show featuring Big John Wallace and Howard Fields on January 19th, 2020 as part of the Light of Day Festival to benefit Parkinson's research. Portions of the proceeds will also benefit WHY Hunger.

About The Light of Day Foundation:
The Light of Day Foundation, Inc., utilizes the power of music to raise money and awareness in its continuing battle to defeat Parkinson’s disease and its related illnesses PSP and ALS within our lifetime.
The Foundation’s mission is to fund research into possible cures, improved treatments and support for patients who suffer from those illnesses, their families and their caregivers to help improve their quality of life. The primary fundraising efforts are an annual series of concerts held in Asbury Park, NJ. Since its inception in 2000, Light of Day has raised over $4.5 million in the fight to find a cure for Parkinson’s disease. What began as a single concert in New Jersey has grown into approximately seventy shows in thirteen countries on 3 continents including North America, Europe and Australia!

About WHYHunger
WhyHunger, formerly World Hunger Year, was founded in 1975 by the late musician Harry Chapin and Radio DJ Bill Ayres on the fundamental belief that access to nutritious food is a human right and hunger is a solvable problem in a world of abundance. What began as a simple commitment between two friends to make a difference has grown into a global non-profit, celebrating over 40 years of supporting social movements and grassroots innovations to change the systems, policies and institutions that perpetuate hunger and poverty in our world. WhyHunger has proven that change is possible and that justice can prevail.
