He came into the world on New Year’s Eve — a perfect little boy, full of promise. For his parents, Leoś was a miracle. But three months later, their world shattered.
Out of nowhere, Leo suffered a 30-minute seizure. Tests revealed a cruel truth: drug-resistant epilepsy. Soon, doctors found even more — low muscle tone, eye problems, and finally, a rare TBC1D24 gene mutation causing severe developmental delays and repeated seizures.
Now, every day is a fight. Each seizure can erase weeks of progress. Leo can’t lift his head or roll over, and his parents live in constant fear — but they refuse to give up.
