Breaking news! I just posted my second You Tube video, entitled Rod Jokes Punny Cards Baseball Edition. It runs through four goofy baseball-theme greeting card designs from my rodjokes.com website. There is also a behind-the-scenes backstory involving a youth baseball encounter between me and Farmington’s own Tim Lollar, who enjoyed a seven year Major League Baseball career. Consider this a public warning. Against all odds I have recently launched a You Tube channel, called Rod Jokes Punny Cards. The goal is to promote my goofy greeting card designs on my rodjokes.com website. The first video is cleverly entitled Welcome to Rod Jokes Punny Cards (I came up with that all by myself). This is my most recent card design! Perhaps my St. Louis Cardinals should consider this approach as they struggle to score runs. As a side note, in a Khoury League game during my Farmington, MO youth, I got hit in the butt with a fastball thrown by future major-leaguer Tim Lollar. It left a nifty round bruise, complete with seam marks. If I had known that Tim was going to make the big leagues, I might have asked him to autograph the wound.
