🎄 COMMUNITY ALERT – Columbia Park Christmas Display Concerns 🚨

Dear Park Hills Community,

Our team has only just begun decorating Columbia Park for the annual Christmas light display, and we are already discovering several strands of lights that have been cut. This is happening before the full display is even installed, and it is a serious concern.

City employees work hard for weeks to create a beautiful holiday experience for everyone in Park Hills. These displays are free for the community to enjoy, and early vandalism threatens the tradition that so many families look forward to each year.

We are asking residents to please be vigilant and help us protect the park by doing the following:

• Keep an eye out when driving or walking near Columbia Park, especially during evening hours
• Report any suspicious behavior or activity you may notice around the decorations
• Contact the Park Hills Police Department immediately if you see vandalism occurring

Your watchful eyes truly make a difference. With the community’s help, we can protect the displays and ensure the magic of the season shines for everyone.

The KREI-KTJJ-KJFF Fall, American Red Cross Blood Drive is today. 2 locations, at the Jefferson County YMCA in Festus, and at the Farmington VFW. You can give up until 7pm. You do not have to have an appointment, walk ins are welcome. Get a free t-shirt, and a $10. e-gift card for donating. You will also be entered for a chance to win $5,000.

Downtown Farmington is looking festive for the Fall season. If you haven’t gotten your scarecrow up, there’s still time to do so. Judging is this Friday at 1 pm! $20 to enter and that includes your scarecrow kit. All funds go to support Help the Hungry. Thank you to KTJJ for sponsoring this event! 🍂🌾🎃
