Revisiting Mt.Blue Football and seeing the shape it is in now is better than what I had seen once I left when I was in high school. After years of mediocrity from different coaches, Coach Collins comes into town as a Mt.Blue alumni with a mission to revamp Mt.Blue to be proud of its roots in the Farmington community and to be the historic football team it is known to have in the town. Coach Collins and his coaching staff of young but fiery competitors have not been shy of discipline and implementing the depth of basic technique to the athletes who wear the blue and gold. With that being said, Mt.Blue Football has a new identity, by returning to the identity of what made them who they are in the past.

Another year, another Greek festival in Watertown. From June 12-14, enjoy Greek food, Greek music, and a Greek atmosphere at Taxiarchae Greek Orthodox Church in Watertown, MA. It’s the best festival Watertown and the Greater Boston area has to offer.

Garrett Reynolds of Riverside Greenhouses & Florists took over this landmark in Farmington in 2022 after his father, Kurt, owned and had his family work here since 1986. Riverside has been a go-to shop for citizens in Franklin County since 1939 for top quality flowers.

Garrett being the second generation in his family to take over has quickly made a difference to Riverside with obtaining more property to grow, more employees to work, and more product to offer. Garrett has made it clear to me that he doesn’t see retirement in his life and that he is looking forward to build onto Riverside for the rest of his life alongside his family with the likes of his parents, his fiancée, and his sister. He also highlighted the importance of the hard work his employees have given to Riverside.

Riverside is and will always be one of the best options for local flowers grown by a family-oriented business that serves its customers as they are the reason they have been around for over 75 years.
