Building Musical Bridges: Celebrating the decades-long US— Azerbaijan friendship.

We are thrilled to announce American Conductor Farkhad Khudyev's debut performance on the Baku State Philharmonic Hall stage. Maestro Khudyev will lead the Azerbaijan State Symphony Orchestra, premiering works of American Composers. The performance will serve as an opportunity to celebrate the decades-long US—Azerbaijan friendship, showcase the cultural richness of both nations and advance cultural diplomacy between them.

Described by the critics as a "phenomenon "(Seattle Post Alley), "magician on the podium" (Performing Arts Monterey Bay), with "the ability to connect with invisible worlds and to bring them alive in the music" (Monterey Herald), Farkhad Khudyev has been recognized as one of the extraordinary and versatile conductors on an American Stage.

The AAMF is grateful to Mr. Fuad Ibrahimov, the principal conductor of the State Symphony Orchestra of Azerbaijan and Baku Philarmonic, for extending the invitation, to the Azerbaijan State Diaspora Committee for supporting this performance, to the US Embassy in Baku Azerbaijan and to ADA University for taking close part in this historic performance.

As a non-profit organization, the AAMF aspires to build musical/cultural bridges. We believe music transcends geographical boundaries and can be a powerful tool for communication.
