State Line Tribune We are the "Official Publication of Parmer County", and the oldest newspaper in this area. We started in Texico in 1912 and moved to Farwell a few years later.

We proudly serve the Farwell, Texico, Lazbuddie and Bovina communities.

They wanted me to clarify they are not closing 4 stores, but would not comment about how many stores they are closing.
They wanted me to impress on folks they have only announced they are closing the Farwell store at this time.

Lowe’s Supermarket in Farwell to close

It was announced today that Lowe’s in Farwell is one of 4 markets in the state being closed by Lowe’s.

Officials had previously said lottery and gas sales had kept the store open, and the alcohol sales were expected to bolster their profits.

Their final day will be October 4.
