Nelson’s Speed Shop, a Greenville-area dealer of snowmobiles, ATVs, pontoons, boats and other powersports equipment, unexpectedly “temporarily" closed its doors as of Thursday evening and 32 employees have apparently lost their jobs.

Prints Available For Sale Without Watermark

For the 1982 Racing Season a full Color promotional poster was produced promoting the Enduro racing circuit using photos I had taken at the race 1981 T.B. 250 . In addition to the poster the photo was used in an ad by Old Style Beer. Few of the full original posters still survive or have faded with time, however, we have had requests for copies. Since we can't produce the full size poster due to costs we have designed special print working with the original poster and Old Style Bee ad complete with a little history. My late wife Sherry had started the project but passed away before it was completed. I re-discovered the high res. file and thanks our friend / designer Amber Hart we are able to offer "11x14" and "16 x 20" prints. To order a copy please contact me for details. Never To Early to Promote 2025 Events

While we have to get through the coming wonderful white winter ahead , it is never to early to start promoting summer events for Snowmobiles and Tractors. Steve started his chemotherapy treatments on Friday. On Saturday, he took a turn and required an emergency blood transfusion, and on Sunday morning, he was transferred to the ICU. In the ICU, he underwent surgery in an attempt to identify the source of the bleeding, but medical professionals were unable to determine the cause. He remained intubated and received additional blood on Sunday night. On Monday night, he had another emergency transfusion, and doctors are currently assessing whether he should undergo another scope or if they should wait to see if the bleeding resolves on its own. The situation is a roller coaster, and we are seeking continued prayers as the ICU team at the University of Michigan continues to care for him.

Got a pleasant surprise to day when this was item shared to my personal page. A shot of Iron Dog racer and friend Todd Palin with his 1995 Iron Dog winning Polaris. I last saw that sled in the winners circle at the end of the race when Todd and teammate Dewayne Drake captured the checkered. That year my lovely my wife Sherry who now lives in heaven and I had a chance of a life time to cover the race in person from Wasilla - Nome and back traveling in a Cessna 180 through the wild of Alaska. If you look down from Todds right arm onto the sled you will see our The Winning Edge Magazine sticker Todd and Dewayne honored us by running it on their sled the entire race. There are also photos I took along with the edition of our magazine covering the race. Todd is racing this year in the Iron Dog with a new teammate. I wish him nothing but the best.
