Congratulations to Highgrove resident Zach Dorrough on an outstanding high school career at Starr’s Mill! A state champion debater, National Merit Scholar Finalist, NHS president, and Starr’s Mill’s all-time highest weighted GPA valedictorian, Zach has demonstrated excellence both inside and outside the classroom. This fall, he will attend Georgia Tech as he begins the next chapter of his journey. We can’t wait to see all he accomplishes in the years ahead! 🎓👏

This past Christmas brought a little extra magic to the Slagel family. Meet Coco Chanel, their three-month-old Husky mix rescue.🐾
With her cocoa-colored fur, the name just fit. She’s already mastering commands, loves her squeaky duck and red ball, and is happiest curled up in a warm lap. When she’s worn out, she flips onto her back and snores like a tiny pig—pure joy.
Coco has filled their home with so much love and laughter. They couldn’t imagine life here without her.💛
