Meet Utlwanang Mmeti, a 17-year-old CEO from South Africa who is stepping boldly into entrepreneurship as the founder of the sneaker brand Dapper Shooz.

Utlwanang’s journey began at just 16 years old, working out of his mother’s garage in a small village in South Africa’s North West province. With limited resources but unlimited vision, he started designing vibrant, eye-catching sneakers that reflect creativity, confidence, and youth culture.

Although Dapper Shooz officially launched this year, Utlwanang had already been laying the groundwork since 2021, using social media to build an audience, test ideas, and promote his brand long before his first official sale. That consistency and foresight paid off. Today, his sneakers are sold online, reaching customers far beyond his village.

What makes Utlwanang’s story remarkable isn’t just his age, it’s his discipline, patience, and belief in starting where you are. Instead of waiting for perfect conditions, he turned a garage into a launchpad and social media into a storefront.

Utlwanang Mmeti is proof that innovation has no age limit and that global dreams can be born in the most humble places. His story is just beginning, and Dapper Shooz is already walking a path paved with purpose, creativity, and ambition. 👟✨

💰 Money only matters because of what it allows you to control.

If it does not give you time, flexibility, and peace, then it is just another distraction.

Too many people chase income and end up more trapped than before.

The purpose of earning is to create options, not obligations.

Real success is having the freedom to choose your schedule, your priorities, and your pace.

If money costs you your health, your relationships, or your peace of mind, it is not success.

Use money as leverage, not as an identity.

Freedom is the finish line.🏞
