IT TOOK SHELLY-ANN FRASER-PRYCE π―π² ALMOST 10 YEARS TO BREAK HER PB.
In a post shared on Facebook, Fraser-Pryce reflected on the patience it took to improve her 10.70s personal best, which she had held for nearly a decade.
In 2021, she finally broke it, running 10.63s at the JOA/JAAA Olympic Destiny Series in Kingston.
But she wasnβt done.
Later that same season, Fraser-Pryce π―π² went even faster, clocking 10.60s in Lausanne to set a new personal best. The performance moved her to third on the world all-time list at the time.
Her message was simple: patience ultimately pays. β€οΈβπ₯
