Carolina Country Music Awards to be Presented at Carolina Country Christmas Show After Health Update from Christy “Sweet Tea” Andrulonis
FAYETTEVILLE, NC — The 2025 Carolina Country Music Awards will shine in a new spotlight this year — as part of the Carolina Country Christmas Show on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at Highland Country Club in Fayetteville, NC. The festive evening will feature a holiday feast, the presentation of the awards, and a headlining performance by country legend Skip Ewing.
The change comes as Christy “Sweet Tea” Andrulonis, Executive Director of the Carolina Country Music Association and host of the midday show on the Carolina Country Radio Network (100.1FM in Fayetteville), continues her fight against lupus — a chronic autoimmune disease that occurs when the body’s immune system attacks its own tissues and organs, causing inflammation and damage to joints, skin, kidneys, blood cells, brain, heart, and lungs.
“This past year has been filled with both challenges and gratitude,” Andrulonis said. “I’m deeply thankful for the incredible love and support from my family, friends, colleagues, and the Carolina country music community. Moving the awards into the Carolina Country Christmas Show lets us gather in a joyful holiday setting — while still honoring the artists who keep our Carolina roots alive.”
The Carolina Country Music Association remains committed to its mission of supporting and promoting independent singer-songwriters from across the Carolinas. “These artists are the heartbeat of our music scene,” Andrulonis added. “It’s more important than ever that we lift them up.”
The Carolina Country Christmas Show featuring Skip Ewing will be a one-night-only celebration of holiday cheer, unforgettable live music, and the best in Carolina country talent. Tickets are $125 per person or $1000 for a table for eight and are available exclusively at www.WFAYcountry.com and www.CarolinaCountryMusicAwards.com. Sponsorship opportunities are also available.
