FIGHTING FOR HIS LIFE: The Gravette Fire Department is asking for your help for one of their own. 27 year old father of 4, Tylor Shambles, is in critical condition after an accident on his motorcycle on Wednesday. His wife, Shelby, tells me he was clipped by another vehicle on HWY 10 near Grove, OK while on his way back to their Benton Co, AR home. Tylor suffered serious head trauma. Here’s how you can help ~>

GOOD NEWS: All dogs housed outdoors at the Rogers Animal Shelter have been moved inside ahead of winter weather. According to a statement from the City of Rogers, this is largely thanks to Humane Society for Animals, Inc.

An $11.8 million grant from the Environmental Protection Agency was recently awarded to the City of Fayetteville Arkansas Government.

The grant will go towards implementing ‘nature-based solutions’ to the city’s Climate Action Plan, bringing restoration to areas like the Town Branch Corridor Stream and the White River.

I went walking around today and found this area of Town Branch. The Watershed Conservation Resource Center is one of the partners on the grant who will lead restoration efforts in areas like this one.

Take a look at the damage sustained at the Coler Mountain Bike Preserve in Bentonville following the May 26th storms.

Tomorrow is International Mountain Biking Day and the Peel Compton Foundation is asking for donations to continue funding restoration. So far, PCF has fully funded all cleanup efforts and is receiving no outside financial assistance.
