“On the steps, with my homies, the only heaven that I know”

Just finished a little project. We wanted to open the back porch up, not only to make load-in more accessible, but also to create an outdoor stage so we can host some small gatherings this fall. Not bad for a day’s work!

Major ups to the one and only for leading the build and making sure this thing can support the weight of a baby grand piano and whatever else we throw at it.

A few changes in progress over here - we will be taking the next month or so to reset the control room and sink in a couple new pieces. I will do my best to share the fun bits. This has been a studio mainstay since it was gifted from years back, and I just noticed something for the first time looking at it. I shall not say what it is. Ironically it is a comparison of sorts, which in this particular case still managed to bring me joy. Time to get this in a frame!!!

Good for what ails ya! This is by far the best thing I’ve found to beat a head cold/sore throat, not to mention a decent vocal warm up ‘tea’. I also grew that lemon so I am proud of that! ☺️
