The Su***de Squad hit theaters on this day in 2021. This dysfunctional squad of supervillains filmed across 12 stages right here at Trilith Studios. 🎬

Today also happens to be a special day for the director, James Gunn. Happy birthday, James! Before most recently bringing Superman to our lot, he turned one of our backlots into this island. Now that’s movie magic!

Virtual production on Superman took flight at Trilith Studios.

Director James Gunn used the LED volume to bring key moments to life, including Superman soaring through the clouds, the alien battle outside Clark Kent’s apartment, and the anti-proton river. All of it was captured on the Lux Stage Atlanta, powered by Sweetwater Film and Entertainment.

Utilizing an LED volume gave the team more freedom to move the camera, create immersive lighting, and give actors real environments to react to. No green screen guesswork needed.

It’s storytelling on a whole new level, and Trilith’s state-of-the-art sound stages and advanced technology helped bring that vision to life.

A decade ago today, Ant-Man opened in theaters as the first film ever shot on our lot.

How has it been 8 years since “Spider-Man: Homecoming” first swung into theaters?! 🕸️🕷️

Premiering on July 7, 2017, this fan-favorite marked Tom Holland’s first solo outing as the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man, and we’re proud to have been part of the action.

📍Filmed across Stages 2, 6, 9, and 10 at Trilith Studios, the film brought high school shenanigans, Stark tech, and this unforgettable ferry scene to life.

Here’s to the cast, crew, and the story that helped launch a new era of Spider-Man!

Ironheart has officially landed! 💥

Marvel Television’s newest series blasts off with a three-episode premiere tonight at 9PM ET on Disney+.

We’re proud to have played a part in bringing this story to life. Ironheart filmed right here at Trilith Studios in 2022 across Stages 3, 7, 9, 11, and 14. Congrats to the cast and crew!
