💧If the water is discolored, simply shut the water off and wait a few minutes. You can then run cold water for a few minutes to allow new water to enter your pipes. If the water is still discolored, wait a few more minutes and run the cold water again.
💧Avoid washing laundry if you notice your water is discolored, as the flushed sediment could discolor light clothing. Wait until your water runs clear, then we suggest doing a load of darks before you wash any light colored items.
