Here are some photos of Fenton football's 70-26 regional championship loss to DeWitt on Friday. The Tigers scored first and had the deficit down to seven later in the first half before DeWitt's offense just took over. Great season for the Tigers. They were District champions for the first time since 2016.

The Lake Fenton varsity volleyball team gave the defending Division 2 state champion Detroit Country Day squad all they could handle last night in a state quarterfinal game in Mt. Morris. However, they lost a tough 25-17, 23-25, 25-14, 26-24 verdict in what I think a lot of people would say was their best match of the season. The team should be nothing but proud of their performance last night, and so should the Lake Fenton student body and area fans who filled up more than two-thirds of the stands with LF fans. There were two LF student sections.

Don't forget, the Lake Fenton varsity volleyball team takes on Detroit Country Day in a Division 2 state quarterfinal match today at 6 p.m. at Mt. Morris Junior High School. Here are some of Mark Bolen's photos from the regional championship contest, the match that earned the Blue Devils this spot in the quarterfinal.

The Fenton varsity football team's season came to end with a 70-26 regional title loss to top-ranked DeWitt Friday night. Fenton finished the season with an 8-4 record.
