THIS WEEKEND! Amelia Residents in Action for the Symphony presents the entire Jacksonville Symphony Youth Orchestra Philharmonic under the direction of Dr. Nathaniel Efthimiou at Fernandina Beach Middle School for a FREE concert open to the public on Sunday April 26th at 4 pm.

These musicians are the crème de la crème of NE Florida High School musicians. They have worked their way up through the various levels of the JSYO to reach this pinnacle of success. All of them will be pursuing their music in college in some way.
Performing in the Youth Orchestra will be three Nassau County musicians:

Jocelyn Smith, Clarinet
Lindsay Hoffman, Violin
Kyle Carranza, Tuba – Kyle is the winner of the JSYO/VyStar Scholarship, for four years of tuition to pursue his undergraduate studies in Florida State University.

Sponsors for this free concert include ARTS ALIVE Nassau and Nassau County School Board.

Fernandina Beach Middle School is located at 315 Citrona Drive.

Come for an afternoon of fun for the entire family. Music, inflatable water slide, Philly Boyz Food Truck, and beverages from the A1A Cidery. Admission is complimentary. Food and beverage available for purchase. Hosted by the Fernandina Beach High School Foundation and A1A Cidery.

Local authors Rose Winn and Frank Winn will be having a live presentation of their children's books "The Adventures of Rose Bud" this Saturday, March 21st at the Peck Center, 510 S 10th Street, Fernandina Beach. There will be a big screen animation, live music, and live characters. First show is 12 - 1:30pm with a second show from 2 - 3:30pm. Feel free to dress up as your favorite ladybug. This is a FREE event for all ages.
