Get those cars and trucks ready for tomorrow. Tomorrow is officially the first cruise night of the year. You don’t have a car no problem. Bring a lawn chair and enjoy. It’s awesome to see the local restaurants, bars, and food trucks getting into the spirit. Big thanks to the biggest little radio station for making a cruise list to listen to. Thanks to all points grill and we can warriors for having food available and thanks to the silver spur for having special drinks on special for the cruisers and people just watching. The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is considering a once-in-a-generation change to how they manage public lands. As part of this process, they are hosting a meeting in Reno, Nevada on Thursday June 1 from 5-7 pm at the Reno Sparks Convention Center, 4950 S.
Virginia St., Reno. Help keep public lands open. Proposed new wilderness areas in North Western and North Eastern Nevada include:
Ruby Mountains/ Cain Mtn /Bluewing
Mns/Selenite Mtns/Mt. Limbo/North Sahwave Mtns Portions of the Sheldon Antelope Range/Hays Canyon Range/ Massacre Rim NCA/Smoke Creek NCA/
Granite Banio wilderness/Burro Mtn.
Wilderness/Wrangler Canyon wilderness/ most near Gerlach and Lovelock in Pershing County. Wheeled access is not allowed inside wilderness designated areas. This includes mountain bikes/ ATV/ and other off road vehicles. Please let your groups and organizations be aware of this important upcoming meeting.

Looking for something to do with the kids today 👇🏻

There will be many fun activities and treats for the kids at the Green Goddess Market and Seedling Sale on May 7th at the Oats Park Art Center. High Desert Grange will have an amazingly talented face painter, flower crown craft and petting zoo. There will be cupcakes from Cuppiecakes , an array of baked goods from One Bite at a Time , soft serve, slushes and milkshakes from Kim's Kool Treats and even vegan and allergen-friendly treats from Deep Roots Bake Co . Magical Party Rentals will be bringing TWO bounce houses to help burn off all of the sugar the kids will be eating! Pizza Hut with also be providing some savory pies as well 🍕🍕
