📚 The Concordia Education Center (CEC) is expanding opportunities for students! Principal Charles Anderson wants the Miss-Lou community to see that CEC is more than a school for disciplinary issues. This year, CEC has added the Star Academy and Electrical Training Alliance (ETA) to its programs—joining welding, shop, and agriculture classes already offered.

🚨 A $700,000 bond has been set for Kobe Johnson, 21, of Ferriday. He is accused in the second-degree murder of Carlos Collins and the attempted second-degree murder of Doug Collins. Seventh Judicial District Judge Kathy Johnson issued the bond on Aug. 20.
