Some seasons look a little messy behind the scenes…
soap curing on the counter, tallow rendering on the stove, flour in the kitchen, orders stacked up waiting to go out.

But this little business was built in the middle of real life — and honestly, that’s my favorite part of it. 🤍

A little peek behind the scenes over here today. 🌿

Most people only see the finished jars and pretty labels, but there’s so much care that goes into every batch before it ever makes it to your hands.

Slow rendered tallow, simple ingredients, and products made right here in our home kitchen with intention and purpose. That’s the heart behind Simply Gracen. 🤍

Monday mornings around here usually look a little chaotic and a little cozy all at the same time 🤍

Tea getting reheated, sourdough plans for the week, skincare restocks, laundry piles, kids, and trying to keep all the things moving.

This little business has grown right alongside our busy family life and I’m so thankful for every order, comment, share, and person cheering us on.

Here’s to another week of creating handmade things with simple ingredients and lots of love.

Eastman Locker LLC is looking to add an experienced butcher/meat processor to our team.

We are a small-town, family-owned locker plant serving our local communities with custom processing, retail products, smoked items, and quality customer service.

We are looking for someone who:
• Has butcher or meat processing experience
• Can work independently and efficiently
• Takes pride in quality workmanship
• Is dependable and hardworking
• Works well as part of a team

Experience with any of the following is a plus:
• Beef & hog processing
• Cutting/wrapping
• Sausage or smoked products
• Slaughter floor experience
• HACCP/food safety procedures

Competitive wages based on experience.

Full-time position available.

Miss Gracen will be set up Saturday from 7 AM–Noon with a few of her favorite market items, and she is SO excited to start her little market again. 💛

She will have:

🥖 Sourdough baked goods
🥚 Farm fresh eggs
🌱 Fresh rhubarb
🌿 Fresh asparagus
