Kurczak Farm it's busy 'round here! A Polish Heritage Farm. Kurczak pronounced Core-Chuck it is a Polish word translated in English as Chicken. Sold as whole or half goat.

we offer clean herd tested ABGA registered Boer Goats ,wether genetics and percentage Boer goats, APA BBS Cochins with frizzle genetics, Sebastopol geese and Australian Cattle Dogs. Our farm began with our son's love for his chickens and is named to reflect his closeness and love for his birds. We are Proud producers of NON-GMO poultry products including: Chicken, turkey, duck, goose, a

nd eggs. Our small Hatchery focuses only on award-winning line of Cochin and Olive Egger chicks & our very own Kurczak Layer. As well as Sebastopol and Embden geese and Indian runner ducks. Our Poultry processing plant (Mobile Poultry Processing Plant) is open May-November each year and we operate as a USDA PL90-492 CUSTOM SLAUGHTER exempt MPPU. In 2020 our adventure with ABGA Boer goats began and our first kids born in 2021 were amazing! With several earning banners and ribbons. We do also offer goat meat products. Our goats are fed an amazing show feed to optimize growth and health of the animals. The care, Safety, welfare and security of our animals come first! We feed the best available feed, hay and forage to our chickens, geese, ducks, and goats following organic practices as closely as possible. We provide them with a clean, comfortable and loving and nurturing environment.

We have our Finalists for the scholarships!
Now, each season we have about 300 applications that come from youth that are needing help to get a project.
The Scholarship for goats is very dear to me.
As many of you know I am a first generation Farmer and
I started the farm from my parents land, with no buildings or pastures set up or cleared or anything. I started with Chickens in 2013 and goats in 2020. But in those 7 years I was in a youth age program in my area. I even earned the State Award!
I am passionate about youth having the opportunity to show and grow livestock.
I competed and it changed the direction of my life.
I just hope that with my help that this scholarship helps to change the direction of other lives.
I know that there are so many of you that gave your all and I wish I had enough goats to award you all, but sadly I don't.

( Maybe we can encourage other Farms to do this, it's really fun!)

Of the almost 400 applications we got this season I have the honor of announcing that these 7 youth have made it to the final stage.
The finalists will all be given a scholarship of no less than $100 toward their project goat.

There will be a single scholarship awarded for a wether market project (value up to $600)

There will also be 2 partial scholarships of $200 toward their project goat.

The details the kids know, but that's the just of it.

Saturday we sent a couple of bottle baby bucklings off to their show home with Makayla and Skylar.
These girls are such sweet hearts.
They volunteer each Tuesday to go for a Therapy session at a local Assisted Living facility.
The residents were so pleased to meet the goats!
The one here is affectionately called "Hog"
I just thought this was the most adorable thing and it really shows how much these girls and their family are dedicated to the community and to their livestock projects!
Warms my heart! ❤️

A Polish Heritage Farm. Proud producers of NON-GMO Broilers, eggs, award-winning line of Cochin and Sumatra chicks & layers of various lineage. Seasonal Fruits, Vegetables, as well as traditional unique Jams, Jellies and other specialty Products. While we raise our animals we provide them with a clean, comfortable and loving and nurturing environment. All poultry are pasture raised. We do provide indoor accommodations for the winter season, all-season evening and indoor nest boxes. We feed our Poultry the very best non-GMO vegetables, fruits, and feed from the very best local feed mills. Please call or email to inquire about reserving chicks, eggs or Fresh Broilers for Spring 2018. Currently, we have frozen whole Broilers available. Pricing per pound is currently $2.99 for Whole Broilers averaging 4.5-7 pounds. Egg pricing: $3.00/dozen for Blue, Green or Olive eggs $2.50/dozen White/Brown eggs Produce prices vary with the market and will be posted in a timely manner We operate under the Permit of the State of Michigan and Permited for Exemption by the USDA. We offer our own natural farm raised Chicken for sale, self serve 6 days a week. Also serving the local farmers with processing of their chickens or turkeys. Frozen chicken all the time, Fresh chicken available by order.
