Congratulations, Dr. Long, on your well-deserved honor 👏

Tonight, at his final School Board meeting, Superintendent Dr. William K. Long was honored with the Circle of Corydon Award, presented by State Rep. Michelle Davis (R-Whiteland) and Indiana Senate President Pro Tempore Rodric Bray (R-Martinsville).

The Circle of Corydon is the only state honor jointly issued and signed by members of both Indiana's executive and legislative branches. It recognizes Hoosiers who demonstrate exceptional service through leadership, innovation, and dedication to public service.

Dr. Long has devoted 28 years to Center Grove Schools, serving as assistant principal, principal, assistant superintendent, and superintendent. He retires June 30, leaving behind a lasting legacy of excellence for our students, staff, and community.

🎨 The countdown to CHALK THE BLOCK is on! 👩🏻‍🎨

Join Festival Country Indiana during Ethos Celebration of the Arts on June 27 for Chalk the Block, their annual chalk art competition where you have the chance to share your art and win cash prizes. In addition to $100, $50 and $25 prizes, they’ll be giving away $250 for the best USA 250th-themed art!

Date: Saturday, June 27, 2026
Time: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Location: Main Street and Madison Street, Franklin
Price: $10 per square

🎉 Hats off to Center Grove High School’s incredible Class of 2026! 🎉
