1975, the Carmel Clay Historical Society was founded to preserve and share the stories that shaped our community. Fifty years later, we’re celebrating both our golden anniversary and the unforgettable decade that started it all.

Join us for a night that channels the spirit of the 1970s—when typewriters clacked, vinyl records spun, and Carmel was becoming the vibrant city we know today. Enjoy 70s-inspired music, food, and fun as we honor the people and moments that brought us here.

This special evening serves as a fundraiser to support the Carmel Clay History Museum and its mission. Proceeds directly fund exhibits, programming, and the preservation of our growing collection.

Hosting the World Aquatics Swimming World Cup is a big deal for Carmel. Not only does it bring world-class athletes to our community, but it also shines a spotlight on Carmel’s own deep connection to swimming—from youth swim lessons to our nationally recognized high school programs.

Swimming runs deep in Carmel’s DNA. With one of the nation’s top high school swim programs and a community that embraces aquatic sports, it’s no surprise that World Aquatics chose Carmel as a host city. That legacy is led by the Carmel High School's swim teams, including the girls' team who recently secured their 39th consecutive state championship and their 10th national championship.

This October, we’ll be part of a global celebration of excellence in the pool 🏊
