Good Luck Julie!!
As we mark the 50th Anniversary of our businesses this fall, we do so with immense gratitude and a touch of bittersweet emotion. After five incredible decades, the time has come for us to say goodbye.
October 25, 1975 Tom and I were married and when we came home from our wonderful Montana Elk hunting honeymoon we bought Tom’s family grocery store.
So October 1975 we were now proud owners of Bergholz Grocery.
Shortly after we added T&J Deer Processing, and Tom’s dream Business -Tom’s Guns.
Raising our family within the walls of our businesses has given us a lifetime of memories, milestones, and moments we’ll never forget. From our daughters making forts in grocery shelves and napping in grocery carts to our grandkids loving their Mima Mondays with their own play areas in the shop.
Tom was never more proud than when he stood beside generations of hunters, sharing stories that echoed through the years. Nothing lit up our faces more than the mornings when our hunters, wide-eyed and bundled in camo, walked in for their first hunt with us.
Whether you’ve been with us since the beginning, met us at one of the many banquets we worked, or just found us recently, please know how deeply we’ve appreciated your support. This has always been more than just a business. It’s been a family!
We may be closing ours doors without Tom at our side, but as Tom would say “Pass it on!”
We miss him so much and know that his legacy lives on in every story shared, every tradition passed down, and every memory made.
Thank you for 50 incredible years!
