Come join me at the New Salem Library on Thursday, October 9, 2025 at 7 PM. I will be discussing my novel, “Swift River Secrets,” and how I incorporated historical elements on the creation of the Quabbin Reservoir into my contemporary mystery. Emma Wetherby, the archivist at the Swift River Valley Historical Society, arrives at the museum to find the body of a docent. During her efforts to investigate, Emma uncovers grudges going back a century to the flooding of the Swift River Valley to create the reservoir.

Quabbin Quills is a Massachusetts non-profit writers group. Our purpose is to unite authors, publish high-quality anthologies, and give back to the community. Our first Anthology ‘Time’s Reservoir’ was published in 2018.

Our newest Anthology, Mountains and Meditations was just released. The book launch event is Tuesday, May 21, 6 pm, at Athol, MA Library. Join us if you can!

Both of our Anthologies are available at Amazon.com. Proceeds will go into future publications, local educational programs, and scholarships. We offer writing workshops to support writers and build a community of like-minded artists.
