Whatever you do, please don't stop reading. Read for joy. Read for education. Read for resistance. Read banned books. Read books by marginalized authors. Read about experiences that differ from your own. Just. Keep. Reading.

Grampa Leary: A Meredith, Massachusetts Story

https://www.amazon.com/Grampa-Leary-Meredith-Massachusetts-Story/dp/1955123888

Gabe and Freya Leary are raising their great-granddaughters while attempting to seek justice for the death of their granddaughter, Stella. Her death uncovers old resentments in the family and leads to a custody battle over Stella’s daughter, Charity.

Gabe and Freya adopted their daughter, Jade, after the death of Gabe’s brother. After an absence of almost a year, Jade burst back into their lives, seeking custody of Charity and causing further chaos in the family.

Family is complicated, especially when mixed with murder.

Quabbin Quills is a Massachusetts non-profit writers group. Our purpose is to unite authors, publish high-quality anthologies, and give back to the community. Our first Anthology ‘Time’s Reservoir’ was published in 2018.

Our newest Anthology, Mountains and Meditations was just released. The book launch event is Tuesday, May 21, 6 pm, at Athol, MA Library. Join us if you can!

Both of our Anthologies are available at Amazon.com. Proceeds will go into future publications, local educational programs, and scholarships. We offer writing workshops to support writers and build a community of like-minded artists.
