Country music has lost one of its greatest voices and the world has lost one of its most beloved stars.

Dolly Parton has passed away at the age of 80.

From Jolene and Coat of Many Colors to I Will Always Love You, Dolly wrote and recorded songs that became part of the fabric of country music. But her legacy went far beyond the music through her generosity, her humor, her kindness and the millions of children reached through her Imagination Library.

There will never be another Dolly.

Today, we remember an American original and a true country music legend.

Rest in peace, Dolly Parton. 1946–2026.
