I hear often that people are reserved about taking online courses because they feel they need one-on-one in-person instruction.

But the world has changed... A LOT‼️

Most colleges now offer online courses because it is a fraction of the cost and you can get the highest quality information from anywhere in the world without the incredible expense of traveling there and living there during your course training.

AND you can do it in a timeframe that fits your schedule rather than the college's schedule.

This allows for people to do their normal jobs and include this as "part of their life" rather than "making it their life."

At KTVA, we offer both. We highly recommend our online program and if you feel you need a little extra handholding after you've done the course for a while, come on down and meet with one of our instructors, one-on-one, in-person, to clean up some of the things you may not have understood or to spot check and make sure you are doing the things you learned online right.

PHANTOM OF THE OPERA - NIGHTWISH - COVER - KEN TAMPLIN FT GABBI GUN AND EPOCH HOUSE NIGERIAN CHOIR - NINO CHIKVILDAZE

I have said this before, and I will say it again, it's no secret as to my love for Nightwish.

I sincerely believe they are one of the greatest symphonic metal bands in the world and have been grotesquely underexposed in my personal opinion.

They deserve massive world recognition‼️

I wanted to play my small part in continuing to showcase music of theirs on my channel in hopes to give exposure to such a phenomenal band.

Gabriela and I decided to take on their live version of "The Phantom Of The Opera" from End Of An Era recorded on October 21, 2005 at the Hartwall Arena in Helsinki, Finland.

Literally an unbelievably chilling performance‼️

MAGADALLAN - BIG BANG - KEN TAMPLIN ORIGINAL SONG

This video is a song demonstration of my original composition, BIG BANG‼️
I had a good time with this one. I hope you enjoy it, too‼️

I have always been a monstrous fan of big vocal production.

In the early 90s, I was privileged to record an amazing record with world-renowned mix engineer and producer Mick Guzauski, as well as guitarist Lanny Cordola.

That band was called Magdallan and the title of the album was called "BIG BANG" (some of you know of Mick's work from Daft Punk to Kiss, Michael Jackson and everything in between).

That being said, I decided to use this song as a vocal demonstration.

Please keep in mind that all of the background vocals that were recorded here include over 400 tracks of background vocals and none of which were "samples". Every single track was done live multi track over and over again to get these effects. When this record was recorded in 1991/1992 samples were just getting started and not even part of the equation in making this record, much like Queen.

I hope you enjoy this video as much as I enjoyed putting it together for you 🙂

My second major professional group was a band called "Shout".

We pride ourselves on big drums, big guitars, and big vocals.

Being a huge fan of David Coverdale, Ronnie James Dio, Lou Gramm, and Paul Rodgers, it was obvious that the songwriting reflected those powerful influences.

The opening song on the second Shout album was a song called Borderline.

I decided to redo it as a vocal demonstration and sprinkle in some of my original material amongst all of the cover songs that we do here at Ken Tamplin Vocal Academy.

I hope my Shout friends and others that do not know of my former band Shout enjoy this performance.
