Four people had the biggest impact on my Christian walk. They were Andraé Crouch, Love Song, 2nd Chapter and Keith Green. We lost a fantastic brother in Jesus, but heaven gained a musical Saint and I’m talking about Chuck Girard. Please be praying for his family.

LoveSong cofounder Chuck Girard passed away today and is now in the presence of the Lord. Accepting Christ during the hippie movement of the 1960s, he wrote iconic and well-loved Christian music, encouraging a generation in their faith.

Hey folks. The station is shy of making our bills this month. We lost a big supporter with his passing away. We will be $200 shy of covering our bills and as you heard - I personally had to replace our AC and heating unit and we got hit with a $1100 bill. So I am putting up some of my review Bibles. Well, I want to get your feedback on this. It’s seems that the CCM Industry is under attack. Because of Michael Tait coming out with his repentance, Newsboys lost their label and concerts. This is costing folks a lot of money. Also the guys, who have been faithful in the past, because of what Tait did, they are now without concerts, label, product, and now their families will suffer for this.

I knew many stations already pulled Newsboys and dc Talk music and refuses to play them anymore. And I struggle with this. To ME, this comes across as “killing their own wounded.” I’m not condoning what he did but should all of them pay for his sin? According to his letter, he said he has repented and he stopped being in music for now as he is focusing on getting healed and ministered to. To me that should be enough.

For now, I’m not pulling the music but I’m praying on how to handle this. And constructive comments are welcomed but no hateful posts. Those will be removed.

I have been asked to respond to this news article that’s been released over the last couple of days. My heart is broken to hear this about Michael Tait. I first met Michael when he was with DC. Talk back when I was working with Christian FM 92. In Florida. The guys seem to be upstanding Christians. And I know Newsboys quite well and when Michael joined them, I thought he was a great fit for them. But since then, all of these sexual allegations, drug abuse, and drinking kind of blows me away. In the past, I’ve pulled an artist‘s music and until the artist repented and got their life right with God, did we add them back into play In this situation, Michael belonged to two groups DC talk and Newsboys and I don’t think we need to stop playing the music of either of those groups because of one person. So as far as the music of DC Talk and Newsboys with Michael Tate, doing the lead vocals, we will continue to play their music because Newsboys did not know about any of this, and they were shocked and heartbroken Please be praying for all of those involved and let’s pray for Michael Tait’s salvation.

Well we heard from the server copy:

We are now working to coordinate with an engineer at the remote datacenter to perform a full backup of the hard drives. Once complete, the services will be reinstalled on a new server and reconnected to the same DNS. This will ensure that everything remains exactly as it was. However, due to the size of the data involved, the entire process—including backup, hardware replacement, and full restoration—is expected to take approximately 7–10 days.

Yep- the Narrow Way is down for 7-10 days. The old GAM apps on iphone apps is still available. If anything new comes up, i will let you know.

Only 8 people are supporting the station and it brings in only $250 of the $600 a month we need. In October- through Today, I have shared the need of the station that we need major support. Only one person has responded. If we can not raise the rest of the support by the end of the month, we will be shutting the station down. Since 2017, I personally have been making up the difference. Since I retired and only have my Social Security to live on, I can no longer afford to do that.
