Our sweet friend Sidney gave the Benji and Sofie, the rescue horses much needed halters today!

The love for these horses has been amazing!
We still are in need of some support for them.

We had the vet out and they need feet and teeth done but we are getting there!
One day at a time❤️

While we are waiting for the rest of the sows to have piglets, we get to enjoy these two little ones!

This is Hamela’s first litter (5 total-one stillborn and two disappeared, most likely a wild hog or bobcat🤬) and she is a great mama!

She is half Hampshire and half Kune Kune and we bred her to a Kune Kune boar-so piglets are a quarter hamp/and 3/4 kune.
Loving their size already!😊

Getting horses in the winter wasn’t on our “to-do” list-
But after hearing Benji and Sofie’s story and seeing the condition they were in, we couldn’t say no!

We have the space, time and resources but asking for your help.

The “fun” side of having bottle babies on the farm is the nighttime-round the clock feedings.
I usually enjoy these quiet nights when the weather is still bearable….its the below freezing nights I dread😜

We have some FREE (or trade?)
goat pelts in our freezer for anyone who would like them!?
They are cleaned,salted and frozen-not finished.

We still are in desperate need of fosters for these three!
They deserve a chance but have failed at being “farm dogs”.

High prey drive, but they love to play fetch, great with other dogs but not small animals or livestock.
Definitely 100% pet material❤️

Our three newest rescues!
Meet Moose, Maple and CeCe💕
And they need volunteers to come play with them!

Pups were rescued off the streets by Paws for Progress of Ladonia
near Dallas and are starting to finally warm up to us!
Moose is a solid white male, guardian of his sisters-
Maple is the brown and white one, gentle and quiet observer,
And CeCe the smallest and most curious of the three.

All have been started on dewormer, flea/tick meds and vaccines.
