A new competition is offering Genesee County teens and young adults between the ages of 14 and 23 an opportunity to perform an original song, rap or spoken word verse for a chance at a cash prize, studio time and professional mentorship.

Check out The M-Times Insider's latest episode! The University of Michigan-Flint 's new Student Government President, Levi Todd is looking to make the most of his year in office. Dwindling enrollment numbers, campus-wide budget cuts and faculty layoffs are all going to affect students for the 2021-2022 school year and beyond. Todd wants to try and lessen the blow by providing students with access to the COVID-19 vaccine as well as seeking more equitable funding from the University of Michigan.
