About the Contest
The Green Pen Author Contest is open to all authors in the United States and abroad who are registered for theGreen Pen Writer’s Conference taking place August 17th-19th at the world famous Bavarian Inn in Frankenmuth, Michigan. The conference has been established to create a friendly atmosphere for professionals and amateurs alike to network, share experiences, knowledge, and inspiration while simultaneously benefiting literacy.
Prizes
One grand-prize winner will be selected (at random) to be mentored by former former NY Times bestselling literary agent Mark Malatesta, and participate in his Get a Top Literary Agent, a Major Publisher, and a Major Book Deal 1-on-1 consulting program ($3,000 value). Mark will deliver the keynote presentation at the Green Pen Writer’s Conference, which is where the winner will be announced.
Although there will only be one grand-prize winner, everyone who registers for the contest will receive a copy of Mark’s audio mp3, Literary Agent Undercover: 7 Insider Secrets to Get a Top Literary Agent, a Major Publisher, and a Major Book Deal.
