Worrying is wrong, as it paralyzes active faith in your life. Worrying is assuming responsibility for things you were never meant to carry.
When we allow ourselves to worry we exchange our useful thoughts for those which can harm.

When I was going through some of the biggest trials of my life, I never claimed Jesus, I never claimed Christianity. I never opened the Bible.
I claimed God and even in my darkest most sinful seasons, I talked to God on the daily. Hope is something I was somehow able to hold onto, and I was able to put one foot in front of the other day after day, even when it felt like I had the whole world on my shoulders. That right there folks is the power of God, and I am so grateful!

Romans 5 1-5
Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have access by faith into his grace in which we stand, and rejoice and hope of the glory of God. And not only that, but we also glory and tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, Hope. Now Hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our heart by the Holy Spirit, who was given to us.

Since God healed me and convicted me to radically change my diet, I have often wondered if it is sinning when I "Cheat" on my diet and indulging in processed food that I know is not serving my health or my temple.

Yesterday, I ran across this verse just after a prayer asking for strength to get through my next cleanse. James 4:17 "So whoever knows the right thing to do and fails to do it, for him it is sin."

Food was never intended to be comfort, that is Gods job, and I am learning that. With that said, I would be lying if I said it was not a struggle some days!

Being a single mom was the hardest thing I ever faced! I would have chosen that role again without hesitation to keep myself and my daughters safe, but it did not come without consequences!
While I broke many generational curses, there were some hurts I could not avoid.

It’s been a struggle getting this page going. I have always known I wanted to be an author. But it seemed like everything I wrote down was angry. Nothing no one would want to read and certainly nothing I would want to share!

But then Jesus….

He came back into my life, sent me supernatural healing. As the healing came, he changed the tone of my story.

I’m still rebuilding my health, still working towards a disciplined writing schedule while balancing running a community paper and doing it while learning to love Jesus like I did as a child.
