Found this today. I wanted to start a band:

Looking for non-musicians to form a noise band.
Tissues of Puppy is the name of the project. If you own an instrument we prefer that you not know how to play it very well, but you must be able to get some cool noises out of it. DIY instruments are preferred.

We are inspired by Lou Reed’s “Metal Machine Music”, The Beatles “Revolution 9”, Orchid Spangiafora, Mister Pumkinhead and Negativland.

Currently the band is made up of former members of Mister Pumpkinhead and play sound effects, tape loops and other found sounds on computers and tape machines along with toy instruments and other devices that make noise.

As members of Pumpkinhead they have performed live at Burning Man, on Radio Free San Francisco and KFJC-FM in the Bay Area.
There is absolutely no chance that we will ever make a dime unless someone pays us NOT to perform. We do this for the art and to disturb people.

On the show this week I will be featuring the English band WIRE.

Wire is a British rock band formed in London in 1976, often credited as one of the most influential groups in the post-punk movement. While initially associated with the punk rock explosion in the UK, Wire quickly distinguished themselves through a more experimental and minimal approach that anticipated a wide range of genres, from post-punk and art punk to alternative rock and electronic music.
