Black Friday 8 am tradition-

When the Internet’s Best Karen shops: I arrived too early to pick up my Thanksgiving order. The young lady at the counter explained that the bakers were “working down the list.”

No worries. In the same plaza is a grocery store. Making use of the time, I picked up some last minute items. Since it was so close I decided to check the bakery again.

After waiting a few minutes the same young woman assured me it would be best to come back at the requested pick up time in 90 minutes.

Everyone was working hard to help customers. I replied I would be happy to come back then. Truly who could complain about getting the freshest baked goods? Not this Karen!

When I returned later my box of “baby cakes” was ready! I love the baby cakes which have the perfect cake to icing ratio!! My lunch!!

Thanks !!! Yummy!!

Crucial Pro Tip: when using walking navigation, be sure you are holding the phone right side up. This morning I was holding my phone upside down and kept walking and walking. Finally noticed my arrival time kept getting later.

I would not be a good partner on Amazing Race!!

Did make it to a shopping area and the return walk was much easier!
