This week on Roots and More I'll be recognizing the birthdays of Charlie Watts, Brandi Carlile, Memphis Minnie, Levi Stubbs, Tommy Emmanuel, Grant Green, and Mike Gordon. We'll also hear tunes from Jerry Garcia's second solo album which was released this week in 1974, and from The Beatles "Sgt. Pepper's..." album, released this week 1967. I'll also be playing songs from recent releases by Emily Nenni, Trey Hensley, Kacey Musgraves, Jarrod Walker, Veranda, Sweet Megg, and Mama's Broke.
