Thank you so much, Amber Peoples, for your support! We were honored to work with you! (Ned Hickson, Karen Diane Nichols, Bob Keefer)
We want to thank our experience providers for all of your planning, community building, and incredible spirit before and during Live Culture Coast. With over 50 planned experiences, we have a lot of thank yous to pass out!
Today, we’d like to thank our first official experience hosts of the event, Ellen Traylor of Port Hole Books, the Port Hole Center in Gardiner, and the writers (Ned Hickson, Karen D. Nichols, and Bob Keefer) that taught during the all-day Writer’s Retreat - Words on the Coast. Thank you all so very much for providing this wonderful opportunity for creative writers here on the coast. We’d also like to thank Bedrock’s for catering a delicious and healthy lunch for attendees! It was an amazing day and we are so thrilled that you were able to put this together as part of the Live Culture Coast adventure!
Visit one of the great Oregon Coast bookstores this winter - Port Hole Books. It is well-stocked with a great selection of books, handpicked by the owner and best-selling author, Ellen Gunderson Traylor. Ellen has been in the book business as a bookseller and store owner for 26 years, with multiple locations in Oregon and Montana. A few years ago the Florence and Gardiner, Oregon stores were merged in Gardiner, on the grounds of the Port Hole Center - a conference and event venue. Port Hole Books is a fine establishment, in the tradition of the old-timey bookseller. It is worth the stop on the Coast Highway, with easy parking and access. Stop in and say hello!
