Here are newspaper ad clippings from my grandparents newspapers dated 12/7/1966 that I've used AI to bring to life. This is what housewives in December 1966 were wearing or what their family members were buying for them and putting underneath the tree because we always used to buy mom housecoats and Dad's slippers/ties right? 😆 I have actually found and own several of the style of house coats in these ads. Some of them are in my personal collection and some are listed on my eBay so feel free to check that out. Link in BIO. I hope you enjoy my little history. Dive into AI. Which is your favorite house coat?

Let's hear it. For the charm and style of these 1966 house coats. I clipped these newsprint ads from a 1966 newspaper of my grandparents dated 12/7/1966. With the magic of AI and my direction, I've brought these vintage house coats to life in a very short commercial. Now these house coats I definitely would wear to Walmart! If you need a vintage house coat to wear at home or to Walmart I have some on my eBay. Me or comment house coat. Link in BIO.

This one's for all the gentlemen! Took this Walter Morton 1960s ad from my grandparents newspaper and used AI to turn it into a commercial. Walter Morton was actually a label founded by Hickey-Freeman a famous US menswear manufacturer founded in the 20s. It was named after each of the founders sons and was sold at various premier department stores in the mid-century establishments such as Capper and Capper in Chicago. I hope you enjoyed this AI commercial and if you love vintage fashion check out my eBay. I will be listing some mens vintage ties this week and have a few other nice mens pieces and of course tons of women's vintage. Have a great week y'all!

Turned another 1966 newspaper ad from my grandparents stash into a 1960s commercial with the help of AI. This one is from November 1966 and is for the Chansonette bra by madienform. This company is still in operation today and it was founded in 1922 by Ida Rosenthal, her husband William and business partner Enid Bissett. By the mid-century Maidenform was the leader in bra sales with the chansonette bra being the most popular. This ad leans toward their famous ad campaign from 1949 through 1969 " dream sequence". While AI really struggled with my instructions on this one, it essentially captures this 1960s ad and I hope you enjoy it, glitches and all. #1960

Here's another one friends! This 1966 ad is for an Evelyn Pearson women's robe sold at Kaufman's. The newspaper is dated 12/7 66 and comes from my grandparents stash. I really love how AI captured this one with the help of my direction course. Doesn't he look like Dick Van D**e? ❤️ Reminds me of watching reruns on Nick at Nite as a kid. If y'all keep showing the love I'll keep sharing these fun blasts from the past. Coincidentally, I do have a few vintage robes listed on my eBay so if that's your thing go check them out. Otherwise just love me for my content 😘

Had a little fun with AI turning this 1960 Vicky Vaughn advertisement from my grandparents newspaper dated 12/2/1969 into a fun commerical. It took a few tries and it could get the hair right but still a fun glimpse at the past! If you enjoyed this you know what to do and feel free to pop over to my eBay if you love vintage fashion and good deals!

Found this record at the thrift this weekend. It is from 1957 and is Jerry Lee Lewis debut with Sun records. I wasn't sure if it would play well with all the scratches but I'm happy to report Crazy Arms plays relatively well despite minimal static but unfortunately End of the Road has a bad skip stick in the last 2 lines of the song 😭 but overall for an almost 70 year old record I'm pleased. The songs are both great as well. Rock and Roll!

So this is what I do when I'm NOT at the thrift store. I decided to try the 2 ingredient lemon bars I keep seeing on everyone else's reels. Super easy and yummy, soft and gooey. I didn't have any powdered sugar to "make them fancy" but they were sweet enough plain. Let me know if you try them and don't forget to check out my eBay for new items to add to your vintage wardrobe.

Hello again. Here's my 3rd meal from my grandma's 1950's Betty Crocker cook book. Today it was cube steaks, mashed potatoes and tomato in cream sauce, followed by orange sherbet for dessert. (I opted for rainbow sherbet instead as it's always been my favorite.) I did add a new skill to my cooking repertoire, peeling a tomato which I don't think I will be doing again. Everything turned out simple and tasty.
