Presentation of the Project – Assume ta Jeunesse
Haiti’s youth face daily challenges of violence, poverty, and lack of opportunities. Yet, they remain the greatest hope for the country’s future. Assume ta Jeunesse (“Take Charge of Your Youth”) is a project designed to empower and guide young men and women, helping them embrace their potential and become positive agents of change in their communities.
Our initiative targets 500 young people between the ages of 16 and 27 in Cap-Haïtien. Through training, mentorship, and community engagement, the program will:
Provide personal development workshops that strengthen leadership, responsibility, and resilience.
Offer skills training and entrepreneurship support to create pathways to employment and self-reliance.
Build a network of peer support that counters the influence of gangs, hopelessness, and destructive behaviors.
Encourage faith, ethics, and social responsibility, forming well-rounded individuals who can transform society.
This project is not just about activities—it is about building a movement where young Haitians take ownership of their future. Our long-term vision is to create a generation of leaders who can uplift Haiti through courage, education, and service.
With your support, Assume ta Jeunesse will stand as a living testimony that investing in youth means investing in Haiti’s renewal.
