Most people cringe at the word "budget" - it feels restrictive, limiting, almost like punishment. Give it a new name and a new focus. Create a spending plan that lets you decide where your money goes.

When it comes in, be thankful, then give it a job to do. That may sound silly, but try it before you knock it. It's empowering!

Let's be honest - the word budget feels like a 4-letter word. It feels like punishment. Just changing the language to a “spending plan” feels so much more empowering. A spending plan lets you decide where your money goes, and helps you be more intentional - instead of wondering where it went. It’s not about less joy—it’s about more intention.
