Save the Date! The Christian College Fair is coming to TWCA and it is open to the public!

The Woodlands Christian Academy is excited to welcome the Houston Area (North) Christian College Fair this fall!

Families will have the opportunity to meet representatives from Christian colleges and universities from across the country, ask questions, explore programs and scholarships, and discover schools they may not have considered before. This is a wonderful opportunity for high school students and their families throughout our community, so feel free to invite friends, neighbors, church families, and homeschool families to join us.

Mark your calendar now for Wednesday, October 14 from 6 to 8 p.m. - TWCA can’t wait to welcome everyone to campus!

Members of Montgomery County Precinct 3 Commissioner Ritch Wheeler’s Road & Bridge and Sign teams cleaned up and removed graffiti from an abandoned, neglected gas station along the Sawdust Road retail and restaurant corridor.

Previously, Precinct 3 had no authority to enter the property until Montgomery County Commissioners recently passed an order that provides the legal ability to enter private property and eliminate such nuisances.

Montgomery County Precinct 3 crews on Wednesday morning cleaned up a community eyesore that had raised concerns and provoked the ire of area residents.

Don’t miss out on the Hats Off to Reading special event before the show tonight in the Event Center at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion!

Hats Off to Reading is taking place at 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM in The Event Center with games, activities, interactive performances and a wide selection of books for kids to pick from. This dino-themed experience allows everyone to take home a free book!

Then, the Free Show “When Instruments Roamed the Earth” with the Houston Symphony begins at 7:30 p.m. Learn more at https://bit.ly/WhenInstrumentsRoamedTheEarth

Nothing captures the imagination like dinosaurs.

The near-mythical creatures that walked the earth long, long ago inspired the first drawings on cave walls, legendary dragon stories, some of the greatest movie music ever — and now a Houston Symphony show even bigger than the Patagotitan mayorum Titanosaur.

In other words, this is a big deal.

This show is for kiddos who love T-Rexes and Triceratops, for grown-ups who love to get a little Jurassic, and for classical music lovers who are already thinking about their favorite compositions about mythical creatures. The Houston Symphony is thrilled to overwhelm you with the power and wonder of dinosaurs and transport us all back to When Instruments Roamed the Earth.
