Mobile Christian RB Jason Todd has been unstoppable this year! Through just 5 games, Todd has already racked up 900+ rushing yards and 10 touchdowns ๐Ÿ”ฅ

And heโ€™s not just running the ball โ€” heโ€™s playing both ways + special teams โ€ฆ literally never leaving the field.

The Ken Lett Jr. Story

Today we had the privilege of sitting down with T.R. Miller Junior, Ken Lett Jr., to reflect on the life-changing injury he sustained during last yearโ€™s matchup against UMS-Wright, and to hear his thoughts on this yearโ€™s game.

This Friday night will be a special one. The first responders who saved Kenโ€™s life, legendary UMS head coach Terry Curtis, and the UMS community will all be recognized for the vital role they played in Kenโ€™s journey.

The past year has been filled with grueling physical therapy, unshakable mental toughness, and heart. Ken shared, โ€œThere were weeks at the Shepherd Center when I had therapy 5โ€“7 days a week. This was harder than football workouts to me.โ€ When asked about that night, Ken said the only thing he remembers are certain faces โ€” faces heโ€™s now ready to thank personally.

Around school and practice, Ken is known for his smile, positivity, and loyalty to his team. He told us the only thing that matters to him is being there for his teammates, just like they were there for him during his hospital stay.

Coach Jake Najor, who was on staff last year, recalled that night as one of the toughest moments of his career. But he also remembered how the team rallied, pulling together to earn a win in Kenโ€™s honor. Coach Najor described Ken as โ€œa fighter, a kid with a lot of heart, and an inspiration to everyone who gets the chance to be around him.โ€

Ken truly embodies what it means to be a Warrior โ€” resilient, selfless, and committed to his team. Ken let us know that his journey is far from over and he plans to major in engineering after graduation.

This Friday at Brewton Municipal Stadium, come out to support the Tigers, honor the first responders, and stand with Ken Lett Jr. as we celebrate his remarkable journey. ๐Ÿ…

Mental Health Matters!

Every Friday night, we cheer for touchdowns, big plays, and hard hits. We celebrate strength, speed, and toughness. In every town, on every sideline, and in every set of bleachers โ€” there are people fighting battles we canโ€™t always see.

We cheer for the big wins, we support each other in tough losses, but the truth is, some of the hardest struggles happen off the field. Struggles with stress, anxiety, depression, and even thoughts of su***de.

Mental health is something that touches us all โ€” players, coaches, parents, teachers, neighbors, friends. And the strongest thing we can do as a community is talk about it, check in on each other, and remind one another: you are never aloneโ€”It is okay not to be okay.

Mental Health Matters!! ๐Ÿ’š September is Su***de Prevention & Mental Health Awareness Month.
If you or someone you know is struggling, please reach out. Call or text 988 to connect with the Su***de & Crisis Lifeline โ€” available 24/7.

Congrats to our Platinum Sponsor, Coachโ€™s BBQ, on winning best barbecue in Brewton!! If you need a pregame meal, stop by Coachโ€™s!!

We are beyond humbled and honored to announce that Coachโ€™s BBQ has been awarded The Brewton Standardโ€™s 2025 Brewtonโ€™s Berry Best Barbecue!

Words canโ€™t truly express how grateful we are, not only to have been nominated, but to actually bring home this award after such a short time in business. To every single person who voted for us, supported us, shared a meal with us, or encouraged us along the wayโ€ฆ thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

We also want to give a big shoutout to the other outstanding nominees in this category. They are incredible restaurants that we respect deeply, and to even be mentioned alongside them was an honor in itself.

Winning this award so early in our journey is a blessing, and it only motivates us to work harder every day to serve you the very best barbecue we can.

From the entire Coachโ€™s BBQ family: thank you, Brewton, for believing in us and making this possible. Weโ€™ll keep striving to earn it every single day.
